My Husband is my everything and everything to our two beautiful children.

Soon after we met I advised him of my want for a family. I didn’t feel the need to hide something I wanted just to catch a man who didn’t want the same thing. I got lucky though. He was at a point in his life that a family seemed not as unimaginable as it had in the past.

So we moved ahead with plotting and dreaming up the perfect plan. First we agreed that marriage was not a must. We vowed ‘for the foreseeable future’ and that was enough for us. We moved in together to make sure that living together wasn’t out of the question. Sean and I knew he would be fighting in October 04 Crown for Caryn and decided that would also be a good time to start trying this whole adding to the family thing.

9months later we had a beautiful baby boy. Quentin Richard Oppenheimer was born July 05, 2005. It was definitely one of the happiest days of my life. I knew without a doubt Sean was ready to be a daddy when we got home and I realized I still had yet to change a diaper. J

Three and a half years later on January 15, 2009 we added a beautiful little girl to our hearts and home. Ziva Elizabeth Oppenheimer is the missing piece to our family.

My husband is everything and then some that I could have ever asked for in a husband and father.

Baby I love you more then anything and I’m glad to be a parent with you. Happy Father’s Day!

Sean and I had a great time at Crown. As I'm sure most, if not all, of you have heard Sean won the tourney!

I can't believe all the talking in circles and trying not to jinx anything by saying 'if he wins' is over. I am so excited. We have most of the heads for our Retinue in place already which makes me feel a ton more calm about the whole thing. My coronation and crown wardrobe is already being planned by two awesome ladies! Now we can relax a little. There are a few things that we have to get sorted out now like site for coronation. We would really like to do a camping event but it will depend on finding a site. I already have one nanny and am planning on having a few more lined up soon. That is one of the few parts of our retinue that I will actually need now. Sat in my first three hours of circles! Wow, now I know how easy it is to lose track of time in there and why it happens just about every time.

It was a wonderful tourney to watch all the way around. Sean's fighting was something to behold and he was not the only one. The list was clean and beautiful. If you have time you can check out the video on Sean's YouTube account. It also shows him comming over to me after the win. It was an amazing experience. And there is more to come I'm sure.

I was lucky to be able to stand next to someone that if she was the one to become Queen I would have been just as happy.

Ziva is growing like a weed. A week ago we had to go into the doctors. She was 11# 9oz and 22in. I can't believe how big she is already. She is a very smiley baby and like to coo alot. She is growing out of her 0-3month clothes already (at least the onsies because of her length).

Sean is autocrating Collegium this weekend. I am taking Quentin to see the horses again (weather permitting) and then up to Grandma's to decorate easter eggs. It should be a good day. It looks like there will be a fighter practice on Sunday at Layton Park which works out will because that is where we will be for Easter dinner.

Quentin is also growing up. He just isn't my baby anymore. He is definately a little boy with alot of his own ideas and opinions. He is not afraid to let you know that he thinks something should be done differently. He just got his very own computer thanks to Grandma S having an older one that she wasn't using anymore. We put his games on there and he watches his movies on there too. Eventually he will probably have limited internet access.

Well it is a beautiful day outside so Ziva and I are going to the Gateway Mall so we can enjoy the sunshine and warmth while it lasts.

You Are An INFJ
The Protector

You live your life with integrity, originality, vision, and creativity.
Independent and stubborn, you rarely stray from your vision - no matter what it is.
You are an excellent listener with almost infinite patience.
You have complex feelings, and you take great care to express them.

In love, you see relationships as an opportunity to connect and grow.
You enjoy relationships when they are improving and changing. You can't stand stagnation.

At work, you stay motivated and happy... as long as you are working toward a dream you support.
You would make a great photographer, alternative medicine guru, or teacher.

How you see yourself: Hardworking, ethical, and helpful

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Manipulative, weak, and unstable

Because I have managed to get back in contact with a lot of people all at once I thought I would just put out one blog to catch everyone up a little. If you want additional info on any one aspect let me know. This will be pretty general for the masses.

My Man....
We met in 2003 through a mutal friend. We all hung out together and slowly got to know eachother. Eventually we started dating casually. In March 2004 we got all serious and decided we wanted to have babies. Because we have both been married before (that will be in a later catch up) we decided getting married was not a priority. We promised eachother the foreseeable future and that worked for us.
In July 2004 I bought a house and Sean and I moved in together with two cats and a dog. Seeing as we managed to still like eachother after moving in we decided it was time to all to our family.
In Oct 2004 we got pregnant with Quentin. Everything was really well and we had a beautiful baby boy on July 7, 2005. In May of 2006 we added again to our family with Charlie a border collie mix.
It took us two years and a few false starts and a surgery but on January 15, 2009 we welcomed Ziva into our family. Quentin has been a good big brother so far. He likes to help with bath time and getting diapers and wipes and such when needed.
I married Sean in June 2008. We were in Vegas for a bachlor/bachlorette party and decided to get married while we were there. It was simple and wonderful. We had a few friends there that were there for the other party already. We already loved eachother, lived together and had Quentin so not much has really changed.

Sometimes as you travel through life you get the privlidge of really getting to know someone. You see them for who they are on the inside as well as the person they let everyone else see on the outside. For me Jared was one of those people. We dated for awhile, came to the conclusion that that was not the best road for us and eventually relised that freindship has it's own set of benefits. I never stopped loving him my love for him just changed.
Saturday January 24th I lost that friend. He passed away peacefully with his mom, dad, brothers and sisters around him. I will be forever greatful to his family for allowing me time to see him and say my goodbyes. I will also be forever greatful to Kristen for taking the time to think of me and to let me know what was going on.
I am going to miss him very much. I am glad that he decided to go out with Jaunita on her birthday all thoughs years ago. I am greatful for the time that we were able to spend together as a couple and then as freinds. He was gentle and kind. He loved his family and friends. I am so glad that I had taken the time to tell him exactly how I felt about him.
For thoughs of you that did know him I will post the information for the funeral when I get it. I've heard that it will probably be Wednesday.

I will be posting later with baby updates. As you can see I've been a little distracted this week and trying to hold myself together.

For those of you that would like to attend ....

The viewing and funeral will be held at an old LDS church in Riverton, UT just north of 12600 south and Redwood Road (1700 west). Look for all of the cars. I am sure you will spot it.

There will be a viewing Tuesday the 27th from 6pm-8pm
On Wednesday the 28th there will be a viewing from 9:30am-10:30am
The funeral will follow at 11:00am.

So October 11th I was informed by my employer that my position with the company was no longer needed. Apparently the company as a whole is cutting back. They offered me two weeks severance and I took it. There is no way I could be the 'happy receptionist' while trying to say goodbye to all of my favorite customers anyways. I was there long enough on that Monday to find out, talk to HR and then leave. I went back in on Tuesday did the cleaning of the desk and putting in order of the paperwork. Well I guess I was right. I always said my job isn't hard it's just time consuming. Of course this is the slow season so for now it won't be a problem. I filed for unemployment so hopefully I will hear back from them soon.

Of course with me being 6 ½ months pregnant my chances of actually getting hired anytime soon are rather low. If anyone knows of any job opening for Receptionist, Admn. Asst. type let me know. I need full-time, M-F with benefits would be nice. I qualify for Sean's insurance but it is a high deductible plan.

Any how. I am trying to use some of this time to get the house in order. We have someone staying with us next weekend so I am hoping to make a sizable dent in this mess we call a home this week.

Q has a good Halloween as far as I can tell. Sean felt bad for him and ran out Thursday night and got him a Spiderman Costume. He looked adorable. I will have to try to post some pics later tonight. He was suppose to be a lion (my aunt had picked up a cute outfit at a yard sale) but, he kept saying he wanted to be Spiderman. We took him up and down our block and he came home with plenty of candy. He's been really good about letting me ration it out. I'm sure some will disappear into thin air later.

The pregnancy is going really well. She is moving all of the time. We have our next appointment on Monday. We are at the every two weeks stage. I am so excited for a girl. I wish I still had a job. There were a few more clothes shopping sprees in my future. I think we will be fine though. We have all of the big stuff. Between me, my mom and my aunt and cousin we have a couple of outfits for her already and I should only need a few more things before she gets here. We bought a big can of formula at Sam's the other day when we were there to get a little of a head start. Of course if I am still out of work I will be nursing for as long as possible. I did that with Q it helps with the cost of formula and it is better for them anyways.

Sean is in Idaho this weekend. I wanted to go but, with having the Qman at a mainly court event that is not local and I didn't have anyone to watch him it makes it really hard. That's okay though this way here Sean can get in some Basil time. He's going to the fighter practice for a little while tomorrow as well. He's not fighting but likes to be available to teach if the want is there. Speaking of him teaching, Vegas was great last weekend. Thanks to everyone that came. We stayed in our time-share/condo thing at Tahiti Village. It was great to have a full kitchen and a place to call home that was bigger then a bread box. We took the Qman with us so Saturday while Sean was teaching I took him up to the Mandalay Bay to the Shark Reef. Melanie went with us and we had a great time. After nap time Q and I went to the pool for a little while. Well, till his lips turned blue and I was able to convince him that a warm bath would feel better then the pool.
Sunday was fighter practice at the park and Sean continued his class. Q got a hold of my camera and decided he wanted to take pictures so I let him. I will have to get some of those posted as well. After we all got back we just hung out and talked and those that could, drank. Sean's step sister lives in Vegas and he hasn't seen her in 20 years so she came over and hung out with us. We had a late dinner and everyone seemed to have a pretty good time, including the Qman who ended up having a very late night that night. I will have to post some of the video from that evening as well.

Tuesday was a sad day. I know what it's like to have a pregnancy that just doesn't happen for what ever reason and it more then sucks. I had four friends that were pregnant and everyone of them lost there babies somewhere between 5-8weeks. I mean what are the odds? They all lived in different places (states even) all different ages, all different circumstances. I went with my friend to the hospital for her D&C. I wasn't sure she would want me there or not. I know it is hard to be around someone that is pregnant while having to go through all of that. But she did, so I went and held her hand. She has a wonderful positive outlook on everything and I am already really excited for them to try again when the time is right. She is such a wonderful mom and I would love to see her have another child because, I know that is what she wants.

Well that ended up being a lot longer then I had intended. I have to go work on my resume now so that I can make a true attempt at finding a job. I hate looking for a job! I was really thinking I would be at this one for a long time.

So just thought I would take a moment and catch everyone up on a few things....

Qman has finally made it to the age of three! I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by. The last year has seen many advancements in his little world. He is so independent. We are still working on the poddy training thing. With any luck it will be done soon.

Sean and I got married in June. We ran away to Vegas and it was great. There were no invites sent out and no stress to deal with. It was all about us which is how I believe it should be.

Sean and I are also excited to let everyone know that we are going to be having a little GIRL! We are due the 24th of January. We have a name picked out but nothing is for sure until she gets here. So far everything looks really good. We had a level 2 ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and we got to see the four chambers of her heart, the two hemispheres of her little brain, two arms, two legs, little toes... anyhow you get the idea. If you know anyone getting ready to have a boy let me know, I have lots of clothes.

SCA Stuff

Sean and I will be stepping down in December from our Baronial tenure. It has been a wonderful two years but I'm ready to let someone else take on that responsability. We know who the next Baron and Baroness are but I can't say out load yet to the masses.

Sean will most likely be fighting in crown in October. Though there is a fair chance we will still have a little break. I told him if he doesn't win one of the next two crowns we will have to take a break for a few years till little sister is a bit older.

This weekend....

Qman was sick this weekend. We attempted to go to Harvest out in Farr West but Q let us know with an upset stomach that we were heading right back home again. Sean stayed for the day and fought and then came home to help me take care of the Qman.

It actually worked out really well. We went yesterday and bought a carpet cleaner. Can you say .. that was gross!... We cleaned our hall carpet and the two rugs from our front room and the stairs to the basement. I am so glad we bought and did not rent because Grace proceeded to pee on the hall carpet last night. (she's been having issues lately) At least now I can clean it better. We kept putting off getting new carpet because of the animals and the Qman but I am reconsidering after seeing what a carpet cleaner can do. We will see money is still an issue in that decision.

Today is a lazy day. Sean made us crepes for breakfast and has been playing KungFu Panda with Q all morning. Baby girl has been kicking me all morning which to me is a welcome and reassuring feeling. I'm going to meet a friend for lunch later and that is the extent of the plans for our day. It's rainy and cold today. After all the heat it actually feels really good.
